With Live Oak being Central Texas' regional day school program from the deaf it is important that we stay abreast any new technologies that can help this unique population of scholars learn and develop those 21st century skills. I was overjoyed to stumble across our very own Mrs. Hassacks recent tweet: "A bench is now a classroom. Using the Hear Builder app for auditory memory & listening skills." She snapped a picture of this young scholar using the app's bluetooth capabilities to connect his cochlear implant to some auditory skills practice.
