Live Oak Elementary was one of a few campuses in Round Rock ISD, even Texas, to get to participate in Google's Expeditions Pioneer Program. Expeditions is a virtual reality platform built for the classroom. They have worked with teachers and content partners from around the world to create more than 100 engaging journeys - making it easy to immerse students in entirely new experiences. With Expeditions students were able to take Virtual Field Trips to places like: Mount Rushmore, Washington D.C., the Amazon, the bottom of the ocean, and even the Moon!
