Ms. Guerra had a student do a research project over their hero, an NFL player who is also deaf like her student. Impressed with his research project Ms. Guerra found and tweeted her student's hero a picture of the project. It is amazing how teachers can use technology to reach out and extend learning beyond the classroom walls.
After recently attending an educational conference both Mrs. Mullins(5th Grade) and Mrs. Knox(Music) shared their love for BrainPOP through twitter. After meeting and learning more about BrainPOP's new features at the conference they are excited to use it with their students. Scoring a free shirt didn't hurt either. :)
